A locale 10k race done after a long time without much training.

A bit out of shape… did this 15K race, with its ups and downs, as a test to see if I can still do it. Well, barely.
Round Neighborhood Run – Full
Running the full Psagot-Afek neighborhood peripheral course for the 1st time.
Not a long course, but with relatively good vert (105m).
Tempo and a bit oh hills-repeats training
Group training. Mainly tempo run, and 5 hills-repeats in the later part.
5 min. worm-up & dynamic starches.
5k at about 6 min/k avg.
1k at about 6.5 min/k avg.
4k at about 5:22 min/k avg.
5 hills-repeats of about 100 m. 4% incline
5 min. cool-down & static starches.
Jerusalem Half Marathon
Just 3 weeks after TA marathon, came to have a fun run in beautiful Jerusalem. Good weather conditions, running though the new and old parts of the city, and a lot of hills…
Tel-Aviv Marathon 2017
This was my 2nd marathon. Good weather conditions, yet the 4th run quarter was tougher than expected.

TLV Night Run 2016
Inbal’s first 10K race.

Since September we started her training for this race. I figured it wasn’t enough time to train safely for it, so we dedicated on a run-walk strategy. Starting from 1 min. run and 1.5 min walk, we got to about 3.5K run and 2 min walk in the race (switching to walking only twice).
It was a grate experience, and though it wasn’t easy for her, Inbal had a lot of fun.
